What is Thrive Lights?

Thrive Lights is the US leader for the Global Stoplight movement, a partnership of more than 850 organizations that utilize the Stoplight self-assessment tool and methodology to support people on their pathways to thriving.

What is the Thrive Lights tool?

The Thrive Lights tool is a simple yet powerful tool that helps individuals, families, and communities take charge of their own journey from suffering to surviving—and ultimately, to thriving. Through an easy-to-use technology platform, the Thrive Lights tool offers a guided self-assessment that gives participants a clear picture of where they are today. It helps them identify their strengths, recognize their challenges, and develop practical actions tailored to their unique circumstances. It’s not about prescribing answers—it’s about equipping participants with the tools to take charge of their own progress and well-being.

Thrive Lights is part of the Global Stoplight Network, a diverse network of partners — including government agencies, private companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, non-profits, cooperatives, microfinance organizations, academic institutions, and sports clubs —who are all committed to supporting people on their journey to thrive.

Who uses Thrive Lights?

Community Development
& Social Service Agencies

You’re in this work to make things better. But sometimes it seems like the gap between what needs to get done and what actually changes just keeps growing. New challenges keep popping up, leaving you reacting instead of advancing your strategic vision. Thrive Lights helps you shift from playing whack-a-mole to building lasting impact by creating a symbiotic partnership with the people you serve. Together, you can build on their strengths, align your initiatives with their real needs and priorities, and co-create solutions that lead to thriving communities.

Social Entreprenuers

You think differently—creating new ways to solve old, entrenched problems. You’re not satisfied with one-time fixes or static solutions. You want your impact to grow, adapt, and scale. Thrive Lights keeps you closely connected to your community, making sure you stay aligned with their needs and priorities. By catalyzing their creativity and energy, you unlock new possibilities and multiply your impact—together.

Employers

You know your business depends on your people. You want to build a creative, problem-solving culture that delights your customers and drives success. But when staff turnover is high, it’s hard to build that kind of culture and keep it thriving. Thrive Lights helps you understand your employees’ needs and priorities, creating stronger connections and a more engaged workforce. It enhances their creativity and ability to work together, driving greater loyalty, productivity, and long-term success.
